Overview
Over the past few years, MSC has become an accepted M&E methodology, particularly amongst civil society organizations. The MSC approach involves generating and analyzing personal accounts of change and deciding which of these accounts is the most significant – and why. As with any M&E methodology, MSC can be used to help plan future activities; it can be used for accountability purposes; it can support communications work through generating stories that show changes in people’s lives and many donors now consider it a valid methodology. We have developed robust participatory and creative tools enabling our partners to embark on the MSC journey for learning and decision making.
